To keep myself busy & out of trouble at home, I started my own little "operation clean up" by sorting out bags of old clothes that I found stacked in a corner in the garage. While I was staring at these clothes I realized that these clothes are going nowhere, not now until after lock-down. It then dawned on me that after our global crisis, there is going be some very difficult times for some families, world wide, due to a lack of income & people loosing their jobs.
Hey...I can help here by giving short DIY tutorials on how to recycle some of these old clothes into other clothes for your loved ones. All I need is hubby's t-shirt & my nieces shorts to make a cute little pants for a little one.
I traced the shorts onto paper to make a pattern, a long pants pattern as we here in South Africa will be heading into the winter season very soon. I then used the old t-shirt fabric to cut out my fabric pattern, which just fitted on the old t-shirt.
While stitching the pants together I discovered HOLES!!!!!
It was to be expected, I mean the t-shirt is OLD! OH DEAR! NOW WHAT!!@!
Well never fear when I am near.... cause I have a plan. I have a mini video tutorial on how embroider flowers over holes in your old t-shirt.

Enjoy the show ..... until next time
